The Cited API

The free readiness check is available as JSON for scripts and AI agents. The full description is OpenAPI 3.1 (also served by the API at https://citedfix.pages.dev/openapi.json).

Returns the score (readiness, not a measure of AI recommendations), each check with its status and detail, the business profile we read, draft buyer questions, and a Shopify summary for Shopify stores. Limits: a few scans a day per client without a key, 60 requests a minute on every route; a 429 comes with Retry-After. Errors use application/problem+json.

• GET /api/meta: which answer engines are connected, prices, limits.
• GET /api/health: liveness.
• POST /api/audit/start, /page, /answers, /fixes: the paid audit in steps, with the audit pass as Authorization: Bearer. The audit page drives these for you.
